Diane McKeyhan, Founder and President of Resilient Professionals, LLC

Diane McKeyhan lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She is the proud mother of three grown children and a Great Dane.  As a Registered Nurse of over 4 decades, she prides herself on her ability to understand the plight of the physicians, nurses and others in the helping professions. As a lifelong program developer and entrepreneur she has designed many programs for healthcare throughout the United States.

For 17 years Diane worked in a Neurology and Trauma Intensive Care Unit.  This is where she saw the need to help healthcare professionals that were struggling with Compassion Fatigue and the effect of trauma exposure. She developed the Stat Lavender Program™, which is a wellness intervention program for staff dealing with Compassion Fatigue (Empathic Stress), Lateral Violence and Burnout.  It has been used throughout the United States and in several other countries. Diane sees it as her personal mission and ministry to draw attention to this problem, provide education, support, and interventions to healthcare professionals helping them stay resilient for a career.  She has created, in addition to this website, a Facebook wellness page called Resilient Professionals, and a Facebook group called the Stat Lavender Compassion Fatigue and Resiliency Forum.

Diane is certified as a Compassion Fatigue Therapist and Educator by the Figley Institute, and the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology, 2006.  She is also a Certified Myers-Briggs Trainer/Facilitator focusing on Organizational Team Building.

Diane is a trained and experienced debriefer in Critical Incident Stress Management. She has served for 30 years as a debriefer in many high profile traumatic events in Michigan.  She currently teaches a 1 to 1 Debriefing Model for healthcare individuals that have experienced emotional traumatic events.

Diane received Honorable Mention from the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Care’s 2018 National Compassionate Caregiver of the Year Award. Early in her career, she was named Nurse of Hope by the American Cancer Society.
